About Norman's Olde Store

Norman’s Olde Store is an antique and character collectible store dedicated to customer service and satisfaction. Norman’s Olde Store is nestled in the “original ” Washington, a waterfront community along the Pamlico River in eastern North Carolina . Norman’s Olde Store, a mail order collectible store, was founded by Philip Norman in July 1989 . Even though he was knowledgeable in other areas of antiques and collectibles, his main passion was lunch boxes. The store was known at one time to have more than 3000 different varieties of metal, vinyl and plastic lunch boxes along with over 1000 thermoses. Mr. Norman passed away from cancer in March 2002 and his son, Sam , has currently taken over the business and dedicated himself to the customer service that Norman’s Olde Store has been known for since its inception in 1989. Norman’s Olde Store is currently open by appointment only until January 2004 when it will be open on Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM. Please make it a point to drop by the store in 2004. It is well worth the drive.
